Belle Isle: Upland cress with a mild cress flavor. Plants form petite leaflettes in a rosette close to the ground. Best planted in fall for early spring crops.
Planting Tips: Upland cress resembles watercress and is a good substitute. Known as “creasy greens” in the South. Naturally a tender perennial but grown as an annual or biennial. Best sown in late summer for fall and winter harvests. Direct seed as soon as danger of frost has passed through late summer.
